Sheet Metal Roofer – Historic Restoration Projects

The Tradesmen Group LLC (TTG), a nationally recognized leader in historic building restoration, is hiring a skilled sheet metal roofer with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in sheet metal roofing, including copper and metal flashings. This is a long-term opportunity with immediate openings on regional projects.
TTG is a full-service, award-winning restoration contractor specializing in historic masonry, roofing, architectural metals, carpentry, painting, and more. Position Responsibilities
- Safely remove existing roofing systems and components according to project specifications
- Accurately measure and fabricate sheet metal parts both in-shop and on-site
- Install roofing systems following SMACNA, NRCA, and CDA standards
- Perform copper soldering using irons
- Maintain daily job site cleanliness with the roofing team
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in roof demolition and removal
- Ability to work independently and stay focused without direct supervision
- Advanced knowledge of sheet metal detailing and fabrication
- Familiarity with construction tools, roofing equipment, and basic carpentry
- OSHA 10 certification (must be completed before starting)
- Must be eligible to pass a federal security clearance
