What are the responsibilities and job description for the Executive Assistant / Jr. Account Manager (Part-Time) position at Lee & Co Creative?
About Lee & Co:
Lee & Co. Creative is a boutique brand and marketing agency for home and design brands. We help builders, designers, architects and their trade partners get clear on who they are and show up beautifully: brand strategy, messaging, social media, websites, email, lead generation, and the creative that brings it all to life.
We're intentionally small and high-touch. Our clients aren't transactions; they're long-term partners, and we treat their brands like our own. We're growing, and we're looking for the right person to grow with us.
The Role:
This is a part-time, hybrid role: about half keeping the founder organized and the business running smoothly, and half supporting client accounts day to day. You'll work directly with our founder, Meredith, and be a steady, friendly point of contact for our clients.
It's a great fit for someone who loves details, likes being the person who makes things happen, and wants hands-on experience in brand and marketing work. As the agency grows, this role can grow into a full account manager position.
What You'll do:
Executive Assistant:
- Manage the founder's inbox and calendar: scheduling client calls, flagging priorities, and keeping follow-ups from slipping
- Keep our project management system current, tracking tasks, deadlines, and deliverables across clients
- Prepare meeting agendas, take notes on client calls, and send recaps with clear next steps
- Coordinate new client onboarding: welcome packets, questionnaires, and gathering logins, brand assets, and access
- Help with business operations: invoicing reminders, file organization, contracts and proposals, and vendor coordination
- Support outreach and relationship building, including researching prospects, organizing contact lists, and tracking follow-ups
Junior Account Manager
- Serve as a day-to-day contact for assigned clients, answering questions and keeping communication warm and timely
- Schedule and publish social media content; gather photos, project details, and approvals from clients
- Proofread captions, emails, and web copy for accuracy and brand voice
- Track campaign deadlines and keep deliverables moving between Meredith, clients, and freelancers
- Pull basic monthly reporting (social, email, and website metrics) and help prepare client reports
- Spot opportunities, such as a project worth featuring or a client who needs a check-in, and bring them to the team
What You Bring:
- 1-3 years in an administrative, client service, or marketing role
- Exceptional organization: you keep a lot of moving pieces straight and notice when something's about to fall through the cracks
- Clear, warm, professional writing, whether it's an email to a client or a caption draft
- Discretion and good judgment with client information and the founder's time
- A proactive, "I've got it" attitude; you don't wait to be told what's next
- A genuine interest in design, interiors, home, or lifestyle brands
Nice to Have:
- Comfort or experience with tools like Google Workspace, Meta Business Suite, Asana, Canva, Claude, and social scheduling platforms (not required, but a plus! Must be willing to learn new ones)
- Familiarity with email platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, etc.) or website platforms (Squarespace, Shopify, WordPress)
- An eye for design and photography
- Coursework or experience in marketing, communications, or business
The Details:
- Schedule: Part-time, about 15 - 20 hours per week, with some flexibility in when they're worked
- Location: Hybrid, primarily in office in downtown Ogden, with some flexibility to work from home when it makes sense
- Pay: Starts at $19/hr, based on experience
What We Offer:
Flexible hours, direct mentorship from the founder, real ownership of meaningful work, and room to grow as the agency grows.
