Lee Beauty Supply is looking for a friendly, reliable Retail Sales Associate to join our team. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys helping customers, learning about beauty products, and working in a fast-paced retail environment.
You’ll assist customers with products including braiding hair, wigs, hair care, cosmetics, accessories, and general beauty supplies. Prior beauty-supply experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person who is dependable, motivated, and comfortable working with customers.
Duties
- Greet customers and provide friendly, helpful service
- Assist customers with braiding hair, wigs, hair-care products, cosmetics, and accessories
- Operate the cash register and POS system accurately
- Handle cash, credit-card transactions, returns, and receipts
- Stock shelves and keep merchandise organized
- Maintain clean and attractive product displays
- Help receive and organize incoming inventory
- Answer customer questions in person and by phone
- Learn product locations, brands, colors, and basic product differences
- Assist with inventory counts and restocking
- Keep the sales floor and work areas clean and organized
- Follow store policies and loss-prevention procedures
Qualifications
- Retail or customer-service experience preferred, but not required
- Beauty-supply, hair, wig, braiding-hair, or cosmetics knowledge is a strong plus
- Friendly and professional attitude
- Dependable and punctual
- Comfortable working with a wide variety of customers
- Able to stand for extended periods and stock merchandise
- Able to lift boxes and merchandise as needed
- Basic math and cash-handling skills
- Weekend availability is strongly preferred
- Reliable transportation
- English communication skills required; additional languages are a plus

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
