Staff Accountant

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join a growing construction and service-based organization. This role will support day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, collections, cash applications, payment processing, reconciliations, and reporting. The ideal candidate will bring a strong work ethic, a positive attitude, and a willingness to take ownership of responsibilities in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

· Manage AP and AR activities

· Process invoicing, collections, and cash applications

· Assist with month-end accounting and reporting functions

· Monitor cash flow and support payment processing

· Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations

· Partner with internal teams to improve processes and efficiency

Qualifications:

· 3 years of accounting experience

· Strong invoicing, collections, and general accounting knowledge

· Advanced Excel skills, including Pivot Tables

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Highly organized, dependable, and detail-oriented

· Construction, service industry, or project-based accounting experience is a plus
