Senior Accountant

We are seeking an experienced Senior Accountant for a 3-6 month contract to support day‑to‑day accounting operations and period‑end close activities. This role requires a strong technical accounting background, hands‑on experience with financial reporting, and the ability to quickly add value in a fast‑paced environment. $45-$50/hr

• Prepare and review journal entries and maintain the general ledger
• Support monthly, quarterly, and year‑end close processes
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and account reconciliations
• Prepare and analyze financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow)
• Assist with audit requests and provide supporting documentation
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal accounting policies
• Prepare variance analysis and management reports
• Collaborate cross‑functionally to resolve accounting issues
• Support process improvements and documentation as needed
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required
• 5 years of senior‑level accounting experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP and full‑cycle accounting
• Experience supporting audits and financial reporting
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a contract role
  
  

• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as NetSuite, Oracle, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (reconciliations, analysis, reporting)
