Ledgent Finance & Accounting's client is currently seeking a Bookkeeper / Operations Office Assistant to join their team in Florida. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth and efficient running of financial and office operations. The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail, exceptional organizational skills, and a proactive approach to managing both bookkeeping and office management tasks.
- Must have QuickBooks experience and excel spreadsheets
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable & Receivable
- Manage day-to-day accounts payable and receivable
- Process wires and ACH payments
- Invoice short- and long-term building tenants
- Oversee banking and credit card accounts
- Track mortgage payments and transfer funds as needed
- Assist external bookkeeper with tracking, documenting, coding, and reconciling expenses
- File monthly sales tax reports for multiple states
- Manage daily office operations and administrative procedures
- Monitor and maintain office resources, updating supplies and equipment as needed
- Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies
- Manage the internal office calendar
- Assist in organizing events, including permitting, catering, staffing, and hiring off-duty officers
Design Client Responsibilities
- Manage client invoicing, payments, and account reconciliations
- Oversee project budgets
- Manage procurement and tracking of all client purchases
- Process and record purchase orders for client purchases and sync with QuickBooks
- Maintain organization of all design client files
Experience & Qualifications:
- 2 years of bookkeeping experience
- Must have QuickBooks experienceand excel spreadsheets
Additional Info:
- Salary: $27 - $36 per hour
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
