AP Specialist

As the Accounts Payable Specialist, you'll play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely processing of vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and project-related expenses. You'll work closely with project managers, procurement, and the accounting team to ensure smooth financial operations across job sites and back-office teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Full-cycle accounts payable processing for multiple construction projects
• Code, enter, and verify vendor invoices against POs, contracts, and project budgets
• Prepare weekly check runs, ACH payments, and credit card reconciliations
• Track subcontractor compliance (W-9s, COIs, lien waivers, retention)
• Handle AIA payment applications and job cost allocations
• Maintain vendor files and support month-end AP close processes
• Communicate with vendors and internal stakeholders to resolve payment issues

Requirements

• 3 years of recent AP experience, construction industry required
• Strong understanding of AIA billing, lien releases, and retention tracking
