Ledgent Accounting & Finance is partnering with an organization seeking a hands-on Accounts Payable Manager to lead their AP team. This role is ideal for a detail‑driven leader who thrives in high-volume environments and enjoys improving processes. You will be the go-to for any and everything AP!
Hybrid - $80,000-$85,000
Key Responsibilities
- Lead full-cycle AP across multiple entities and bank accounts
- Oversee high-volume invoice processing, coding, and compliance
- Manage weekly payment runs (ACH, wires, checks)
- Resolve vendor issues and research discrepancies
- Maintain AP aging, vendor records, W‑9/1099 compliance
- Support audits, reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare cash forecasts, accruals, and AP metrics/KPIs
- Implement AP automation and process improvements
- Manage, train, and develop AP team members
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 5 years AP management experience in a high-volume environment
- Advanced Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables)
- Strong communication and cross-department collaboration skills
- Experience with multi-entity AP and multiple systems
