Accounting Manager (Hybrid/Remote)

Ledgent Finance and Accounting has a prominent manufacturing company in the St Paul area needing to add an Accounting Manager to their team!

• Pay: $120,000-$160,000 PLUS Bonus
• Hybrid/Remote Flexibility

• Manage and oversee daily accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll coordination
• Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and management reports
• Maintain compliance with GAAP and applicable regulatory requirements
• Develop, document, and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits; act as primary audit contact
• Monitor balance sheet reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial initiatives and system improvements
• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting team members
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting
• Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
