Accounting Clerk (AP)

Job Title: Accounting Clerk (Temporary - 3 Months, Temp-to-Hire Potential)
Pay Rate: $21 - $26 per hour

Location: Upland (onsite)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Clerk for a 3-month temporary assignment, with the potential to convert to a full-time role based on business needs and performance. The ideal candidate will support day-to-day accounting operations and ensure accurate financial recordkeeping.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
• Reconcile bank and account statements
• Enter and maintain accurate financial data in accounting systems
• Assist with month-end closing activities
• Support audits and document preparation as needed
• Communicate with internal teams and vendors regarding billing and payments

Qualifications:

• 1-3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience preferred
• Familiarity with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar)
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information:
This is a temporary position for approximately 3 months, with the possibility of transitioning to a permanent role depending on company needs and individual performance.
