Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and post journal entries, reconcile general ledger accounts, and assist in month-end and year-end close processes.
Manage and ensure compliance with sales and use tax regulations, including filing returns and maintaining proper documentation.
Monitor and reconcile inventory transactions, perform periodic inventory valuations, and work closely with operations to ensure accuracy.
Calculate, review, and process sales commission payouts in accordance with compensation plans and sales data.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
Analyze financial data, trends, and variances to provide insights and recommendations to management.
Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports in compliance with GAAP.
Work cross-functionally with departments such as Sales, Operations, and Tax to ensure data integrity and resolve discrepancies.
Qualifications:
Associates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
5 years of progressive accounting experience.
Strong knowledge of GAAP and general accounting principles.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
