Human Resources Generalist
Leddy Group is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to support a mission-driven organization in New Hampshire. This role partners with leadership and hiring managers and plays a key role across recruitment, onboarding, performance management, payroll/benefits administration, and HR operations.
Responsibilities of the Human Resources Generalist
- Manage full-cycle recruiting, including job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offers, onboarding, and offboarding
- Serve as a resource to hiring managers on interview best practices and compliant hiring processes
- Administer onboarding and new hire orientation programs
- Support performance management, employee development, and training initiatives
- Coordinate payroll, benefits, HRIS, and leave administration with external vendors
- Maintain accurate employee records and ensure compliance with state and federal employment regulations
- Conduct exit interviews, analyze trends, and provide recommendations to improve retention and engagement
- Track HR metrics and support continuous process improvement initiatives
Qualifications of the Human Resources Generalist
- Bachelor’s degree preferred (HR, Business Administration, or related field)
- 3-5 years of HR experience, with strength in recruiting and employee development
- Experience with payroll processing, benefits administration, HRIS, and multi-state compliance
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
