Responsibilities of the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist
- Plan, establish, execute, and maintain a variety of health, safety and environmental programs
- Partner with leadership to ensure compliance with all regulations
- Ensure the highest possible degree of safety for employees
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives
- Perform additional tasks as required
Qualifications of the Environmental Health and Safety Specialist
- Minimum three years of safety and risk management experience
- Self-starting leader who enjoys the challenges of daily involvement with production and maintenance teams
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to succeed in a fast-paced environment
