What are the responsibilities and job description for the Business Development Representative position at LED Lighting Supply?
LED Lighting Supply is looking for a motivated Business Development Representative (BDR/SDR) to revive and qualify opportunities within our existing lead and customer database. This role focuses entirely on warm and dormant leads already in our HubSpot CRM.
You’ll reconnect with past customers, follow up on historical quotes, identify upcoming lighting projects, and hand off qualified opportunities to our Product Specialists. This role offers a clear growth path into Account Management for high performers.
The Role
- Re-engage existing leads and past customers through phone, email, and HubSpot sequences.
- Review historical quotes and dormant accounts to identify new commercial/industrial lighting projects.
- Qualify opportunities (scope, application, timeline, budget, decision makers).
- Assign qualified leads to Product Specialists for quoting, follow-up and closing.
- Maintain clean, accurate notes and activity logs in HubSpot.
- Hit weekly outreach and qualification goals to support pipeline growth, while utilizing automations to work efficiently.
What we are looking for
- Experience in inside sales, sales development, or customer outreach.
- Strong communication skills and confidence speaking with existing customers.
- Organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined with CRM usage (HubSpot experience is a plus).
- Curious, proactive, and motivated to uncover new business.
