The LECOM Institute for Successful Living is seeking compassionate and dedicated Full-Time Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to join our skilled nursing teams at one or more of our long-term care facilities in Erie, Pennsylvania.

Position Summary

The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct nursing care to residents under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or physician. The LPN plays a vital role in ensuring residents’ medical, physical, and emotional needs are met while maintaining compliance with all regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures, and care plans
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Monitor residents’ conditions and report changes to appropriate clinical staff
• Accurately document nursing care and resident status in the medical record
• Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support resident-centered care
• Maintain compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations
• Promote a safe, clean, and respectful care environment

Qualifications

• Current Pennsylvania LPN license in good standing
• Experience in skilled nursing or long-term care preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply)
• Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a healthcare team
• Commitment to compassionate, high-quality resident care
