Job Overview
We are a family owned Home Heating Oil Company located in Southbridge, MA. We are currently seeking a highly motivated, customer focused individual to join our fast-paced office. This position is responsible for daily operations that include incoming calls, taking fuel delivery orders, posting customer deliveries and related paperwork. During the winter season our call volume is high, dependability is a must. We are offering a full-time position, Monday-Friday 7:30am to 3:30 pm
Responsibilities
- Answer high volume of incoming customer calls.
- Schedule and dispatch heating oil deliveries efficiently.
- Accurately enter customer information and relevant data into company system.
- Build rapport with customers by handling customer inquiries and resolving basic concerns and issues in a timely manner.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, data entry and managing customer records.
Requirements
- Must be organized, detail oriented, motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced work environment.
- Professional demeanor with the ability to remain composed under pressure.
- Strong phone etiquette and communication skills.
- Basic computer skills (email, scheduling software, data entry)
- Previous experience in customer service or front desk office role preferred.
- Knowledge of the oil delivery business a plus but not required.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
