We’re a fast-growing law firm seeking a Financial Accounts Leader to own our day-to-day financial operations. This role goes beyond bookkeeping, you’ll manage invoicing, trust accounts, collections, all aspects of firm reconciliation, and financial reporting, while serving as the go-to contact for attorneys, staff, and leadership.
What you’ll do:
- Reconcile accounts (payable, receivable, trust, operating).
- Ensure retainers and invoices are issued and replenished on time.
- Oversee collections and prevent delinquent accounts.
- Hold staff accountable for receipts, billing, and financial compliance.
- Partner with our CFO to keep operations running smoothly.
- Establish and enforce clear financial processes, policies, and accountability standards.
- Provide leadership with accurate, timely financial reporting.
What we’re looking for:
- Experience in accounting/financial operations 5 years (law firm experience a plus).
- Knowledge of trust accounting.
- Organized, proactive, and direct communicator who gets results.
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus, not required.
