What You’ll Do:
- Partner with classroom teachers to develop and deliver strategies that help students master essential literacy and math skills
- Work directly with individual students or small groups, providing targeted support and encouragement
- Use innovative instructional strategies and learning technologies to boost student growth
- Track student progress and keep performance data organized and confidential
- Collaborate regularly with staff, building coaches, and administrators to discuss student needs and share effective strategies
- Become an expert in intervention software and tools that promote learning
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for every student
What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) certification (preferred)
- Strong communication skills—both written and verbal
- Experience with classroom management and instructional strategies
- Excellent organizational skills and a collaborative spirit
- Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
Position Details:
- Temporary, part-time role dependent on grant funding for 4 hours per day for 164 days for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Salary: $37/hr. for those that hold a PA teaching certificate; $35/hr. for all others with a bachelor's degree.
