Job Overview:
Lebanon Middle School seeks a full-time Long Term Substitute 6th Grade Literacy Lab Teacher for an anticipated period of 58 workdays, to cover a leave of absence. A 6th grade Literacy Lab teacher instructs Literacy Lab. Literacy Lab is a skills-based English/Language Arts course focused on strengthening reading comprehension, writing, vocabulary, and discussion skills through structured lessons and guided practice, using a cross-curricular approach with the 6th grade team.
The regular work schedule is 7.5 hours a day, Monday-Friday with a 30-minute duty-free lunch.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Education or related field is preferred.
- Valid NH Elementary Education (K-8) or English Education (5-12) Certification.
- At least 1 year of teaching experience is preferred.

Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit. The employee frequently is required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls and talk or hear. Based off District’s current Long Term Substitute Teacher rates.
