Duties
- Safely load, unload, and handle floral products using manual handling techniques and material handling equipment such as pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary.
- Operate the company mini van vehicle for delivery routes, adhering strictly to traffic regulations and DOT (Department of Transportation) standards.
- Plan efficient delivery routes using mobile devices or route planning tools to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.
- Load flowers securely to prevent damage during transit, ensuring safe lifting practices are followed at all times.
- Deliver floral arrangements directly to customers’ homes or businesses with professionalism, courtesy, and excellent customer service skills.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, complete shift reports, and document any incidents or issues encountered during routes.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams regarding delivery status, delays, or special instructions while adhering to safe driving practices at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 30 pounds.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and professional demeanor.
- Comfortable using mobile devices for route navigation and communication during deliveries.
- Ability to work independently while managing time efficiently across multiple stops in a busy schedule.
