Position Title: Junior Accountant
Position Type / Location / Compensation Full Time (37.5-hour work week, leaving at 1 p.m. each Friday)

Position Overview:
Lebanon County Housing and Redevelopment Authority is looking for a skilled Junior Accountant responsible for accounting functions, financial reporting, reconciliations,
and general accounting functions. The Junior Accountant will be in a supporting role for the fiscal department assisting employees as needed. This is an on-site position.
Key Responsibilities:
· Process, code and enter vendor invoices and utility bills directly into Yardi.
· Handle vendor inquiries and statement reconciliation.
· Create and post monthly billing invoices and receipts for various properties.
· Perform regular bank reconciliations within Yardi.
· Prepare and post journal entries and adjustments.
· Assist with month end close and year-end audit work
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in accounting required.
- Minimum of two (2) years of accounting experience preferred.
- A strong attention to detail and an elevated level of accuracy.
- Ability to effectively communicate both orally and in writing.
- Experienced in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, QuickBooks and (Yardi software preferred).
- Must have initiative, good judgment, and tact.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Experience in governmental or non-profit accounting preferred.
- Physical condition commensurate with the duties of the position.
Work Environment:
- Office-based role with staff interactions.
- May involve occasional travel between offices within Lebanon County.
- Must be able to sit or stand for extended periods and lift to 25 lbs.
- Must have reliable transportation.
Pay: $24.00 per hour
