Paraeducator
Lebanon Elementary School
To assist building principal and teachers by working with individuals or small groups of students, handling routine supervisory and management tasks, and performing general clerical skills.
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Works with students on lessons designed by the classroom teacher.
2. Reinforces teacher instruction by working with small groups or individuals.
3. Replicates classroom materials.
4. Performs supervisory duties assigned by building administration such as lunchroom, playground, hall, and bus duty.
5. Assists teachers in evaluation of student work.
6. Assists teachers in routine classroom management tasks such as but not limited to, bulletin boards, filing, collating, and record keeping.
7. Other duties as assigned by the Director of Pupil Services or the building administrator.
