Overview
Leasing 2 Inc. is seeking an Account Manager to develop and manage relationships within the municipal equipment financing market. This role focuses on building referral partnerships with dealers and vendors that sell essential equipment to local governments.
The position includes managing an established book of business while expanding new referral channels. The current territory produces $300,000–$600,000 annually, with a structured transition from a retiring senior team member.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain referral relationships with equipment dealers and vendors
- Generate new business through relationship-based sales
- Manage existing accounts and ensure continuity during transition
- Work with vendors selling equipment valued at $100,000 to municipalities
- Travel to industry trade shows (1–3 per month; typically 1–3 nights per trip)
- Maintain organized pipeline and consistent follow-up processes
Target Market
- Public works equipment dealers and vendors, including:
- Street sweepers
- Sewer vacuum trucks
- Garbage trucks
- Commercial mowing equipment
- Solid waste equipment
- Heavy equipment (“yellow iron”)
- Local governments / municipalities

Compensation
- Base Salary: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience)
- Commission: 5% – 30% of revenue generated (estimated year 1 - $20,000- $60,000 )
