What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lead Teacher for Toddler Classroom position at Learning Land Child Care?
Learning Land Early Learning Programs is seeking a Teacher for our Toddler room, located near Valley Medical Center in Renton
Must be energetic, outgoing, and interactive with the children while creating a fun and positive environment.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsibilities include the safety, care, and education of the toddler children enrolled in the center and will demonstrate competency in these areas and others
- Planning and implementing positive guidance strategies designed to meet the individual needs of the children in care; supporting positive child outcomes; teaching and participating in positive assistance in potty-training, open and professional communication with co-workers, managers, and families.
- Build and sustain warm, responsive, and positive relationships with all children and their families to create a welcoming environment.
Qualified candidates need to:
- Have at least 6 months of experience working with children in a licensed facility or classroom setting.
- Be dedicated, reliable, and organized with a strong interest in children and education
- Strong communication skills along with the ability and desire to work as a team member of a diverse and dynamic team
Hours of Position:
Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:30pm
Wage Range:
$22.00-25.00 per hour
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
