Role Description
We are seeking a Center Director to lead a Learning Care Group facility in Olathe, KS. As a full-time, on-site role, the Center Director will oversee the day-to-day operations of the center. Responsibilities include managing staff, ensuring compliance with state licensing standards, building relationships with families, creating a safe and engaging environment for children, and driving enrollment to meet center goals. The Center Director will also develop and implement curriculum and educational programs, mentor staff, and ensure that all children are receiving the highest quality care and education.
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational skills to oversee staff, operations, and schedules effectively.
- Experience in early childhood education, curriculum development, and fostering a safe and nurturing learning environment.
- Knowledge of state licensing regulations, compliance requirements, and health and safety standards in a childcare environment.
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills to engage with families, staff, and community stakeholders.
- Proven ability to drive enrollment and implement strategies to meet center objectives.
- Proficiency in administrative tasks, including budgeting, record-keeping, and staff evaluations.
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred.
- Previous management experience in an early education setting is highly desirable.
