Who We Are Looking For
Learning Bug Preschool in Ferndale, MI is seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated preschool teacher to join our small and supportive team. Our educators work collaboratively to ensure every child feels loved, supported, and engaged throughout the day. A detailed outline of responsibilities will be provided during the interview.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Demonstrated ability to be proactive, solve problems effectively, multitask, and work closely with children ages 2.5–5 years
- Minimum of one year of professional experience working with children
- Availability two set days per week from 8:00 AM–1:00 or 3:00 PM, with additional fill-in hours as needed (specific days are negotiable)
- Punctual and reliable
- Early Childhood Education (ECE) training preferred
- Genuine passion for working with young children
State Requirements
The following are required for all teaching staff:
- CPR/First Aid certification by the first day of employment (provided by Learning Bug)
- Current health clearance with a negative TB test
- Successful background check (covered by Learning Bug)
- Completion of MiRegistry training (paid training time provided)
