Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support our educational team in fostering a positive learning environment for students. Responsibilities
- Assist lead teachers in implementing lesson plans and classroom activities.
- Provide support to students with diverse learning needs, including those with disabilities.
- Foster a nurturing and inclusive environment that promotes social and emotional development.
- Help manage classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and effective behavior management techniques.
- Supervise students during activities, ensuring their safety and well-being.
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and other staff members regarding student progress and needs.
- Support daily routines such as snack time, transitions, and outdoor play.
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment conducive to learning.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, or elementary school is preferred.
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles and practices.
- Familiarity with special education strategies and working with students who have disabilities is a plus.
- Experience in childcare roles such as babysitting, nannying, or caregiving is beneficial.
- Understanding of child development milestones and effective teaching methods for young learners.
- First aid certification is desirable but not mandatory. We are looking for individuals who are enthusiastic about making a difference in the lives of children and who possess the skills necessary to support their growth and development in an educational setting.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
