What you will be doing:
- Collaborating with the multi-disciplinary team to create comprehensive student programming.
- Engaging with caregivers to support the whole child.
- Serving as a leader in developing behavior support systems utilizing compassionate responses to student behaviors.
- Collaboratively supporting and supervising RBTs.
- Conducting functional and skills-based assessments, then training and coaching staff to confidently implement individualized support strategies.
- Monitoring and evaluating student progress through ongoing data collection, analysis and review meetings.
Qualifications:
- BCBA certification and Connecticut Behavior Analyst license must be in good standing (or license-eligible)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven experience working with children or adolescents in school or educational settings.
- Skilled in conducting Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and developing Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP).
- Ability to coach, mentor, and inspire teachers, paraprofessionals, and related service providers.
- Excellent data analysis skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal and collaboration skills.
