Learn & Grow Creative Arts Center LLC is an inclusive, secular school located in Hermitage, TN. Learn & Grow offers a creative curriculum with a focus on a STEAM based academic approach including ASL, Art, Dance, English language Arts, Geography, Music, Science, Math, Spanish, Outdoor Exploration, and much more.
We are currently accepting applications to join our team. The current schedule for this part time position is 11a-5p M-F.
This position requires the passing of a background check, completing the required online trainings, 3 references, and a physical. Applicants must have a copy of their HS diploma and any continuing education transcripts/degrees. Experience working in DHS licensed childcare centers and knowledge of DHS rules/QRIS rating system is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
- Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum (identify shapes, numbers, colors, crafts etc.)
- Supervise children to ensure they are safe at all times
- Collaborate with other educators
- Maintain a clean and tidy classroom consistent with health and safety standards
Skills
- Proven experience as an educator in the childcare field
- Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and educational methods
- Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
- Excellent communication and instructional skills
- Friendly and reliable
- Balance between creativity and structure
- Certification in infant/child CPR
- Minimum education level = HS Diploma
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
