Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse – Unit Manager (RN UM) for a travel assignment in Rio Rancho, NM. This leadership role focuses on overseeing unit operations, coordinating patient care, and ensuring high-quality clinical outcomes in a long-term care/skilled nursing setting.
Pay & Benefits
- Hourly Rate: $70/hour
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $2800 (40 hours)
- Shift: Day Shift
- Preferred Schedule: Monday – Friday (8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
- Alternate Timing: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
- Contract Length: ~8–9 Weeks
- Stable weekday schedule (No weekends)
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily unit operations and nursing staff
- Coordinate patient care plans and ensure quality outcomes
- Supervise, mentor, and support nursing team members
- Ensure compliance with facility policies and healthcare regulations
- Communicate with physicians, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
Required Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior Unit Manager / leadership experience preferred
- Experience in long-term care / SNF setting preferred
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage workflow and patient care effectively
