Job Title: Diagnostic Imaging Manager
Location: San Luis Obispo, CA
Shift: Days (Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM)
Weekly Hours: 40 (5 x 8-hour shifts)
Pay Rate: $110/hr - $118/hourly

Mandatory Qualifications for this Job
- Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Registered Technologist (Radiology, CT, MRI, or related modality)
- Proven leadership or management experience in a diagnostic imaging department
- Active and valid certification in one of the following:
- ARRT (R/CT/MRI/M)
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography)
- NMTCB (Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board)
- CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist – California) required
- Fluoroscopy Certification required
- Strong knowledge of California state regulations, CMS (Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services), and TJC (The Joint Commission) standards
- Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
Roles and Responsibilities
- Oversee daily operations of the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring efficiency and high-quality service delivery
- Supervise, mentor, and evaluate radiology staff, including technologists and support personnel
- Develop and manage staff schedules, staffing levels, and workflow optimization
- Ensure full compliance with state, federal, CMS, and TJC regulatory standards
- Monitor departmental budget, expenses, and resource utilization
- Maintain and improve patient care quality and safety standards
- Coordinate with physicians, healthcare providers, and leadership teams to enhance imaging services
- Oversee equipment maintenance, quality assurance, and imaging protocols
- Implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and patient satisfaction
- Maintain accurate documentation, reporting, and performance metrics
