Azure Data Engineer

Location: Grand Rapids, MI (Hybrid)
Duration: 3 months, possible extension

Role Overview:
We re looking for a Data Engineer with 5 -10 years of experience in designing, developing, and supporting software/data applications. The role includes building ETL pipelines, writing software components, and participating in testing and deployment activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, modify, and implement data/software applications

• Build and maintain ETL workflows and data pipelines

• Support applications and operating systems as required

• Participate in test reviews, analysis, and certification

• Handle complex tasks with minimal supervision

• Apply creativity, problem-solving, and best practices in development

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Python/Java/Scala

• Advanced SQL skills

• ETL development and data pipeline creation

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/Google Cloud Platform)

• Software development lifecycle (SDLC) understanding

• Strong debugging, testing, and support background

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Data modeling

• Big Data (Spark/Hadoop)

• Docker/Kubernetes exposure

• CI/CD pipelines

• Agile experience
