Girls Recreational Gymnastics Coach
Leaps Gymnastics | Locally Owned Youth Gym
Leaps Gymnastics is a locally owned gymnastics facility focused on teaching girls the fundamentals of movement, strength, coordination, and confidence through gymnastics. We are seeking positive, energetic coaches who love working with kids and creating a fun, safe learning environment.
Responsibilities
- Coach girls’ recreational gymnastics classes for beginners through intermediate levels
- Teach age-appropriate skills on vault, bars, beam, and floor
- Create fun, structured lesson plans that promote progress and confidence
- Ensure the safety of all athletes by following proper spotting and supervision standards
- Encourage, motivate, and build positive relationships with students
- Monitor athlete progress and communicate feedback to students and parents when appropriate
- Work collaboratively with other coaches and staff
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming gym environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Experience in gymnastics, cheer, dance, or a related sport preferred (training provided)
- Ability to clearly demonstrate and explain basic gymnastics skills
- Patient, upbeat, and encouraging coaching style
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Comfortable working with children ages 2–13
- Prior coaching or childcare experience is a plus, but not required

Pay: $16.00 - $23.00 per hour
