Job Summary:
As a Recruiter II at our staffing agency, this role is vital in supporting the full-cycle recruitment process by sourcing, screening, and coordinating candidates for a variety of client needs. This mid-level recruiting position is ideal for professionals with a strong foundation in staffing who are ready to take on more complex requisitions, build deeper client relationships, and contribute to strategic hiring initiatives. Under the guidance of POD Leads/Talent Professionals and Talent Managers, you will manage job requisitions, build candidate pipelines, and deliver a high-quality experience to both clients and candidates.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Consistently meet weekly and annual gross profit goals/targets.
• Full-Cycle recruiting for field positions. Duties include, but not limited to:
- Complete 12 week “Time-to-spread” training program
- Show proficiency with all “Full Cycle Recruiter” training topics & sign off on Leapros Portal during training
- Build a network of industry talent
- Job and social media posts
- Source, screen, and interview candidates
- Source from Referrals, ATS, Job Boards, Resume Search, LinkedIn, other social media, etc.
- Effort-based expectations must be met on a consistent basis (i.e. daily calls, weekly profiles, client interviews, nominations, leads, etc. as established)
- Complete aptitude tests, set expectations and hoops, identify red flags
- Check References
- Enter Candidates & Log Activities in ATS (Avionte) & Leapros Operating System (LOS)
- Interface with clients as necessary under the direction of management
- Coordinate and assist with interview/assessment process
Manage Active Field Employee Roster
- Maintain minimum roster of 15-25 active contractors in order to meet minimum weekly gross profit targets
- Build relationship with contractors on assignment (minimum touchpoint 1X/week over the phone)
- Understand jobsite dynamics
- Seek leads and referrals
Manage Starts & Fall Offs
- Understand job requirements and nominate qualified candidates in ATS and Leapros Portal
- Start on-boarding process in portal & communicate to Back Office
- Verify accurate Bill Rate & Pay Rate or Salary information
- Communicate approvals with Back Office to start in ATS
- Send First Day Instructions (FDI’s)
- Check-in with starts over the phone the day before and morning of start and log status in Leapros Portal
Produce expected number of qualified leads/week
- Include company name, contact, contact info, and details
- Upload in Leapros Portal
Know your business and articulate to management weekly
- Track GP, Profiles, Leads, Nominations, Starts, and Fall Offs in portal daily
- Forecast hours and expected GP
- Proactively communicate questions, challenges, and ask for support
• Prepare for and participate in Daily/Weekly/Monthly Team meetings
• Approved to join client intake calls
• Build a deepened understanding of client’s business needs and talent priorities.
• Refine and execute effective sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates.
• Continuously improve recruiting processes to enhance efficiency and candidate experience.
• Meet and exceed recruiting metrics with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support hiring goals and drive successful outcomes.
• Operates with a high level of autonomy, demonstrating sound judgment and initiative with minimal daily oversight needed from the Talent Manager.
• Limited travel to on-site team meetings and candidate interactions required situationally
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Involvement in certain team planning efforts
• Provide coverage and support for peers when necessary
• All other duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma and/or GED required.
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience working as a recruiter; preferably in the skilled trades, construction, general contracting, manufacturing, etc. industries
• Proven success as an R1 and/or successful recruiting experience outside the company
• Prior experience working in customer service, sales, inside sales, recruiting, etc.
• Strong computer skills required including MS Office Suite and CRM/Avionte experience
• General familiarity with employment law that is relevant to the recruiting process
• Occasional domestic travel may be required

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

Salary : $55,000 - $60,000
