Responsibilities:
- Enforce Leapros safety policies, procedures, and training programs across all site activities.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of field safety professionals.
- Conduct daily site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments to ensure full regulatory and corporate compliance.
- Lead incident and nearmiss investigations, identify root causes, and drive corrective actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation including safety metrics, reports, permits, and regulatory logs.
- Collaborate closely with project leadership, subcontractors, and regulatory agencies to advance safety initiatives.
- Support planning and execution of highrisk activities including electrical work and critical lifts.
- Promote a strong, proactive safety culture through coaching, training, and engagement with the workforce.
Qualifications:
- CHST certification or a minimum of 5 years’ experience in construction safety.
- If CHST is not held, it must be obtained within the first 12 months.
- Experience in electrical safety and data center construction (strongly preferred).
- Deep knowledge of OSHA standards, risk mitigation, and industrial safety best practices.
- Demonstrated leadership ability with strong communication and analytical skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Ability to travel periodically as needed.
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be aware of OSHA safety standards
- Maybe exposed to heights and loud noises
- May need to occasionally climb stairs and/or ladders.
- Occasional stooping, kneeling, and bending
- Regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, telephone, and keyboard.
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds.
- Travel to job sites may be required.
- Must be able to work in inclement weather conditions
Pay Transparency
The anticipated salary range for this position is $92,500 to $140,000 Per Year, based on relevant factors such as experience, skills, education, internal equity, and geographic location. Final compensation will be determined during the interview process by the hiring authority.
