The Composite Clean Up Laborer supports plumbing installation projects by maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work environment. This role is essential for ensuring project efficiency by assisting skilled plumbers with basic labor tasks and managing the removal of scrap and composite materials from the job site.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $20 Per Hour BOE
Responsibilities:
- Clean and prepare work areas before, during, and after plumbing installation activities.
- Remove and properly dispose of scrap materials, trash, and excess piping or composite materials.
- Assist plumbers with basic labor tasks as needed to facilitate the installation process.
- Maintain site safety standards and organization to prevent hazards and improve workflow.
- Follow specific directions and task assignments from foremen and site supervisors.
- Organize tools, equipment, and plumbing materials to support the production team.
- Ensure the job site remains compliant with cleanliness requirements throughout the workday.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a construction or general labor role preferred.
- Strong ability to follow verbal and written instructions from site leadership.
- Reliable transportation to and from the job site in Melbourne, FL.
- Basic knowledge of construction site safety and organization.
- Ability to work effectively in a high-activity plumbing and mechanical environment.
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to stand, walk, bend, stoop, stretch, and reach for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Must be able to climb stairs and ladders safely.
- Exposure to dust, debris, and varying environmental temperatures common to construction sites.
- Ability to work in tight or restricted areas typical of plumbing installations.
Pay Transparency:
