About Us

At Leap, we're on a mission to transform the home improvement industry - and we want you to be part of that journey. We're proud to be recognized on the Inc. 5000 and Inc. Regionals lists for 5 consecutive years, reflecting sustained growth driven by innovation, strong execution, and an incredible team. We build technology that helps contractors work smarter, scale faster, and deliver better experiences to their customers.

When you join Leap, you'll work alongside curious minds, bold innovators, and thoughtful risk-takers who care deeply about doing great work - and doing it together. Our culture is transparent, supportive, and grounded in approachable leadership. We actively listen to our employees through semi-annual engagement surveys, maintain a strong eNPS score, and consistently act on feedback to improve what's working and where we can do better. We believe great work happens when people are supported outside of work, which is why we offer comprehensive benefits and wellness resources for you and your family.

Take the Leap today and help shape what's next.

You'll shape the people strategy that defines how Leap operates day to day. You'll own talent acquisition, total rewards, performance management, and employee relations, building and scaling a people function that grows with the business. You'll report directly to the CFO | COO. This role demands someone who can operate strategically with leadership while staying close enough to the ground to know what's actually happening across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own Leap's people strategy, aligning talent, culture, and organizational programs with company goals.

  • Design and manage total rewards programs, including compensation structure and health benefit plans that keep Leap competitive.
  • Lead employee relations, handling sensitive situations with sound judgment, consistency, and care.
  • Ensure HR policies and practices comply with employment law across all markets where Leap operates, maintaining the employee handbook and establishing policies that reflect how Leap operates.
  • Partner with senior leadership on organizational design, workforce planning, and succession planning.
  • Partner with function leaders to support their teams' growth, development, and performance.
  • Build leadership development and manager training programs that strengthen Leap's people managers at every level.
  • Lead and develop the HR team as the company grows, holding a high standard for business partnership.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field required; PHR/SHRM-CP or equivalent certification preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, including experience managing HR leaders or a multi-function HR team, ideally within a high growth company.
  • Proven track record building and scaling HR programs that grow with the company.
  • Strong knowledge of employment law, compliance, and HR best practices.
  • Hands-on experience across talent acquisition, compensation, performance management, and employee relations.
  • Excellent consultative and listening skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse cultures and all levels of the organization, including Executive Management.
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive employee and organizational matters.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to connect people strategy to business outcomes.
  • Experience partnering closely with a CFO, COO, or finance leadership on people strategy and business planning.
  • Experience with HRIS and people analytics platforms.

Compensation will be determined based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
