Join the Leap Behavior Therapy team as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)! As an RBT, you’ll work side-by-side with our BCBAs to bring individualized ABA treatment plans to life—helping kids build skills, confidence, and independence one small “leap” at a time.

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized ABA strategies, under BCBA guidance, to help kids build new skills and reduce challenging behaviors.
- Support clients with daily living skills such as grooming, dressing, feeding, and other self-care routines in a patient, encouraging way.
- Collect accurate data during sessions to track progress and help guide ongoing treatment planning.
- Use reinforcement, visuals, and engaging teaching strategies to support clients during learning activities.
- Work closely with families, caregivers, and our team to keep everyone on the same page and support consistency across environments.
- Participate in ongoing training to build your skills in ABA, behavior management, documentation, and clinical best practices.
- Provide input during team discussions as we develop and adjust individualized treatment plans.
- Help create a fun, positive, and supportive environment that encourages each child’s social, emotional, and behavioral growth.
Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or current RBT certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred but not required).
- Basic understanding of ABA principles, behavior management, and supportive teaching strategies (preferred but not required—training provided).
- Strong skills in data collection, documentation, and maintaining accurate records.
- Familiarity with HIPAA and the importance of protecting client confidentiality (training available).
- Clear, positive communication skills for collaborating with families and team members.
- Patience, empathy, enthusiasm, and a team-first mindset.
Pay: $21.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25.0 – 40.0 per week
