What are the responsibilities and job description for the Software Engineer Intern - Hybrid position at Lean TECHniques?
We’re currently looking to add a group of Software Engineering Interns to this nerd club of ours. If you’re someone who has basic programming skills, and is currently going through a formal computer science program, or have recently completed one, we might be a good match! Here at Lean TECHniques, we work with Fortune 500 companies to help take technology from a cost center, to a competitive advantage.
Here’s what you can expect in an internship with LT:
You’ll join forces with 3-5 other team members to deliver high-quality, low-maintenance software solutions that help organizations cement their place in the digital economy.
You’ll help LT improve some of our internal systems, and work on code that we use day to day.
You’ll learn test-driven development practices to help write high-quality code.
You’ll continue to refine your craft and grow your skills through ongoing training, personal development and other learning opportunities that help you reach your goals.
What Skills Do You Bring to the Table?
Know how to program in one or more languages. We believe we can teach you the specifics that are needed, but you’ll need to know how to approach problems programmatically.
Able to work within a team. Our teams are successful because we know how to get along and treat each other as professionals.
A positive attitude. We work on hard problems and engineering can be frustrating at times, so bringing a positive attitude can help see you through the rough times.
