Lean On Me Indy LLC is looking for a compassionate and dedicated Home Healthcare Personal Care Attendant (Non-Skilled) to join our team in Martinsville, IN. Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and personal hygiene
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients in their home environment
- Help with meal preparation
- Assist with pet care, cats or dogs
- Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, tidying, and maintaining a safe living space
- Transport or accompany clients to non-medical appointments and errands as needed
- Monitor and report changes in client health, behavior, or condition to supervisors
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Attendant or Home Health Aide, preferred
- Driver's license or state ID, and Social Security card
- Genuine compassion, patience, and empathy when working with elderly or disabled individuals
- Ability to assist with housekeeping and pet care
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to follow care plans accurately
- CPR/First Aid certification and TB test are a must-have
- Must pass a background check and meet state home healthcare requirements
