Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Hands-On Roofing and Construction Project Manager to lead and oversee roofing, siding, window, door, and other construction projects from inception to completion. This role demands a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses exceptional project management skills, and has extensive hands-on experience in roofing and construction site operations. The ideal candidate will coordinate multiple teams, manage schedules, handle client communications, work with management / sales for estimating, and ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in roofing and construction management software, project scheduling, and client communications will be instrumental in driving project success and fostering a collaborative work environment.
Duties
- Performing all tasks related to residential roofing and construction projects, including (but not limited to) demolition, shingling, flashing, and material installations.
- Conduct job-site safety meetings (Toolbox Talks) and weekly safety meetings with crews.
- Conduct in‑home assessments of leaks or other roofing / siding issues to assist management with creating estimates for repairs or replacements.
- Explain product benefits, warranties, and installation processes clearly to homeowners as needed.
- Manage projects to completion, from ordering materials to final walk-throughs to ensure the job is completed properly and as promised to the customer.
- Manage and guide subcontracted crews to ensure their work is up to standards set by Leak Stoppers Inc.
- Be willing to assist with any needs the business has as part of a small, tight knit crew that works together to support each other.
Qualifications
- Proven project management experience in home improvement (siding, roofing, windows, or related fields preferred)
- Comfortable using computer software for job management and customer communication
- Strong English communication skills
- Knowledge of roofing & siding materials (shingles, underlayments, leak barriers, flashing, vinyl, fiber cement, engineered wood, etc.) James Hardie knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple jobs / crews
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- High energy, self‑motivated, and customer‑focused
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating teams, clients, subcontractors, and vendors seamlessly.
