Constructs and maintains schedule within the company’s ERP system for Defense programs (Vehicle and PAC-3).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Create work orders that support schedule and cadence for Vehicle and PAC3 programs, using the ERP system, Excel, and Planning Detail.
- Coordinate with Production Supervisors and Managers for instances schedule needs modified
- Coordinate with LTC’s other facilities in instances where product is produced at multiple facilities
- Issue material for work orders
- Generate work order print lists
- Print Work Orders as needed and distribute to the shop floor
- Close work orders
- Process scrap
- Split work orders
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Prior ERP System(s) experience
- Entry Level Microsoft Excel experience
- Experience supporting high-volume production environments and ability to collaborate with cross functional teams
- Knowledge of process and procedures related to a manufacturing environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly communicate detailed information to coworkers and management.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to interact in a positive and professional manner to develop and maintain strong working relationships with coworkers and management.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as policies, procedure manuals and job instructions.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as proportions and percentages.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Must be self-motivated and able to be successful with limited supervision
- Must be mentally flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
- Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to operate computer and computer software, to include Microsoft Office products, with Microsoft Excel experience a must.
- Combination of office work and hands-on support on the manufacturing floor.
- May require standing, walking, and occasional lifting while supporting production operations.
- Occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
- Occasional exposure to cold and heat.
