This position is responsible for removing the vacuum bag from the mold or mandrel after cure, breaking out the plaster, taking special care to clean parts without damage, then clean and prepare the tooling for the next use.

- Training Schedule on 1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 6:00am-3:30pm, Friday 6:00am-10:00am
Description:
This position is responsible for removing the vacuum bag from the mold or mandrel after cure, breaking out the plaster, taking special care to clean parts without damage, then clean and prepare the tooling for the next use.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Debag and demolding of composite parts.
- Remove vacuum bag, breather material, bleeder cloth, tedlar, and peel ply from the composite part and tool.
- Use of extreme care and attention to detail as to not damage the part.
- Plaster breakout of parts laid up on a plaster mandrel.
- Clean parts and tools after material and plaster removal.
- Visual inspection of both parts and tools for damage or quality issue.
- Apply mold cleaners, sealers, and release agents to tools after each use.
- Ability to follow process specification.
- Ability to follow work instructions.
- Ability to work under little supervision.
- Correctly documents relevant data for material traceability purposes.
- Communicates effectively and professionally to team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
Education/Certifications:
- Forklift experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0 – 6 months of experience.
- Ability to use a computer.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Ability to work as a team player.
- Ability to work safely in a production environment.
- Willing to work overtime, holidays, and weekends as required by supervision.
- Continuous Standing
- Occasionally exposed to chemicals.
