The Program Operations Associate will work closely with experienced Program Managers and PMO staff to assist with day-to-day program activities, including tracking schedules and deliverables, preparing documentation and reports, supporting cross-functional coordination, and participating in internal and client meetings. This is a training-focused position that provides structured onboarding, mentorship, and exposure to real federal programs, with opportunities for professional growth and potential full-time conversion following graduation.

Specific Tasks Include
- Assist Program Managers with administrative and operational support for federal contracts
- Help track program schedules, deliverables, and action items
- Support preparation of reports, meeting notes, and basic program documentation
- Learn how government contracts operate, including compliance and reporting requirements
- Assist with coordination between internal teams (HR, recruiting, finance)
- Help maintain organized records related to staffing, invoicing, and contract deliverables
- Participate in internal and client meetings as a note-taker and support resource
- Learn basic subcontractor and vendor coordination processes
- Contribute to process improvement and quality assurance initiatives
- Receive exposure to GovCon terminology, FAR basics, and program management best practices
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Public Administration, Engineering, Political Science, or a related field
- Strong interest in government contracting, program management or federal operations
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Willingness to learn and take direction from senior team members
- Frequent use of hands and arms; prolonged sitting may be required.
- Specific vision abilities: close vision, color vision, and focus adjustment.
- Ability to interpret instructions involving multiple abstract and concrete variables.
