Specific Tasks Include
- Teach the FSPC curriculum:
- A predetermined set of vocabulary words
- Greek and Latin root words
- Reading comprehension
- Test-taking skills
- Maintain an orderly and professional atmosphere
- Discipline is managed by military personnel
- Navigate Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Teams
- Stand for two, three-hour instructional blocks
- Manage thirty-minute study hall/tutor time
- Bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts or related fields
- Have classroom experience teaching middle school or higher
- Deliver content effectively, efficiently, and with fidelity
- Possess interpersonal skills, resilience, and organization
- Complete Navy-specific training modules on the job
- Able to obtain and maintain Secret Clearance
- Read, write, and speak fluent English
- Receive feedback professionally
- Frequent use of hands and arms; prolonged sitting may be required.
