*Active TS/SCI w/ FS poly required at time of applicationThe successful candidate is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation,and maintenance of systems hardware and software and related infrastructure. This individualparticipates in the whole process lifecycle from technical research to enable continuing innovationwithin the infrastructure through to application/product delivery. This individual ensures that systemhardware, operating systems, and related procedures adhere to organizational values, enabling staff,volunteers, and Partners.The successful candidate will be managing the functionality and efficiency of a group of computersrunning Windows operating systems. They will manage a Windows domain, using Active Directory,Group Policy, Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator, Configuration Manager, PowerShell, Horizon/Omnissa andDelinea.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of computers running Windows operatingsystems Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems through approval and processing ofpatches Interact with users and evaluates vendor products Research and recommends hardware and software, coordinates installation and provides backuprecovery Monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources May program in an administrative language Leverage scripting and system automation tools Oversees implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results Provides advice and training to end-users Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned Responsibilities sometimes require working evenings and weekends, sometimes with little advancednotice Uses VMware to build and maintain virtual machines Maintains systems documentationRequirementsQUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or other related technicaldiscipline, or equivalent combination of education, technical certifications, training, andwork/military experience Minimum five (5) years of related systems engineering experience in systems administration andanalysisREQUIRED KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS Active Directory Group Policy PowerShell Windows Operating System Configuration ManagerDESIRED SKILLS Horizon VDI deployment Omnissa (Formerly VMware) Application packaging and deployment Wyse thin client managementBenefitsLeading Path is an award-winning Information Technology and Management Consulting firm focused on providing solutions in process, technology, and operations to our government and Fortune 500 clients.
