Site Director needed for Mountain View Academy's Before & After School Program
Leading Edge is a leading provider of extended learning programs for children at elementary and middle schools across the country. This position is both administrative and hands on with 80% of your time spent in program with the children. Work hours are to be 30 hours a week (approximately 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the afternoon), which we classify as full-time . The Site Director’s responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Supervise teachers and other employees by ensuring your program is running to standard
- Ensuring administrative functions are current to include state licensing related materials
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service focus
- Meet with school administration to ensure your program is running efficiently
- Ensuring state ratios are adhered to and are based on student attendance
- Communication with parents and families on a consistent basis
- Exceptional classroom instruction and management skills
- Ability to make adjustments to activities/labs to be inclusive to all students
- Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
- Highly detail oriented and organized in work
- Demonstrated leadership experience
- Onboard and train new employees
- Ability to meet assigned deadlines
- Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
- Required Education: Associates in a related degree or CDA required (Bachelor's degree preferred)
- Required Experience: 3 year experience working in structured educational or childcare setting (or qualifying degree/credits/experience)
- Required Experience: 1 year supervisory or management experience
- Required: Must meet and maintain state specific licensing requirements
- Position Reports to: Area Director
