Black Canyon Boys & Girls Club Part-Time Site Director
Supervisor: Executive Director
Supervises: Program Managers; Junior Staff; Volunteers
Status: Part-Time
GENERAL FUNCTION: Directs/manages overall daily and long term operations of
the designated Club Site with the primary concern for programs and service
delivery, supervision of staff, facilities management, community relations and
membership administration. Site Directors play a crucial coaching leadership role
in cultivating Club culture.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Implement, deliver, and evaluate programs, activities and services that prepare
youth for success and that create a club environment that facilitates improvements
of National Youth Outcomes Initiative.
- Ensure a healthy and safe environment, ensuring facilities, equipment, vehicles,
and supplies are maintained by performing a daily site walk through.
- Plan, develop, implement, evaluate and manage overall programs, services and
activities to ensure they meet stated objectives and member needs and interests.
- Work with the Executive Director (ED) to hire, train, manage, and evaluate staff to
ensure both BGCA and local standards are being upheld.
- Compile reports reflecting all activities, attendance and participation as directed
by the ED.
- Provides direct supervision of all activities during Club operating hours.
- Ensure administrative and operational systems are in place to maintain the
operation of the physical properties and equipment of the Club, including use of
facilities by outside groups. Ensure compliance with organization policies.
- Participate in weekly communications with ED. Conduct regular staff meetings.
- Develop partnerships with parents, community leaders and organizations.
- Assist and support public relations to increase the visibility of programs, services
and activities within the Club and the community.
- Exercise authority in problems relating to members; utilize guidance and
discipline plan.
- Maintain accurate membership information, including updating member
tracking software.
- Assist with fundraisers, and other events outside of Club hours as requested.
- Develop and manage year round Youth of the Month program and provide
monthly recognition.
- Work with ED to bring in outside parties for Sponsor of the Month or Volunteer
opportunities.
- Work with ED to identify candidates and help implement the Youth of the Year
program for regional competition.
- Attends board meetings and special events when requested.
- Approve Biweekly payroll and staff timesheets.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or required.
Job Type: Part-Time
Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour
