Operating Room Manager

Full-Time | Days | Monday–Friday | Rotating Weekends

Lead a high-volume Main Operating Room within a major acute-care hospital in Denver. This is an opportunity for an experienced OR leader to take ownership of department operations, staff development, physician relationships, and quality outcomes.

What You’ll Lead

• 18-room Main OR
• Approximately 70 FTEs
• Neuro, transplant, robotics, vascular, orthopedic, ENT, plastics, GYN and general surgery
• Staffing, productivity, surgical volume and department efficiency
• Hiring, coaching, performance management and staff development
• Strong collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia and surgical services
• OR metrics and performance improvement
• Regulatory and Joint Commission readiness
• Collaboration with Infection Prevention, Quality, Risk, Instrument Processing and Supply Chain

Schedule

• Monday–Friday administrative hours
• Rotating weekends
• 24/7 on-call availability for emergencies only

What We’re Looking For

• Active Colorado RN license or compact RN license
• BSN required
• BLS certification
• 2 years of OR leadership experience as a charge nurse, supervisor or manager
• 2 years of clinical experience in the OR
• Strong knowledge of perioperative services
• Acute-care experience preferred
• Strong candidates from surgery centers will also be considered
