Job description:
Leaders Staffing is seeking for a Counter Sales Representative to assist customers with hydraulic hose and fitting solutions while providing outstanding service and technical support.
Note: This position is on 2nd shift (2:00 PM - 10:00 PM). Training will take place on 1st shift for several months to ensure a successful transition into the role.
Responsibilities
- Assist walk-in customers with hydraulic hose, fitting, and parts needs
- Troubleshoot customer issues and recommend effective solutions
- Build, repair, and assemble hydraulic hose assemblies
- Accurately use calipers, tape measures, and basic hand tools
- Process orders and sales transactions
- Maintain inventory and keep the work area organized and safe
- Deliver a high level of customer service in a fast-paced environment
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on problem-solving skills
- Excellent attendance, reliability, and work ethic
- Customer service or counter sales experience preferred
- Ability to read a tape measure and use calipers accurately
- Basic math skills, including fractions and measurement calculations
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot customer needs and identify solutions
- Experience in hydraulics, industrial parts, manufacturing, maintenance, automotive parts, or equipment repair is a plus
